1) right mouse click on most windows will screen scrape
2) right mouse click on name in ko draw will roll back result
3) tournament files/dsd ( drawsheet database files) zip very well, if u need to email them
4) create phantom days/courts,and name them, which can act like folders for matches
5) right mouse click on ko first round allows u to replace players etc

feeding qualifiers into a main draw
do maindraw with qualifiers slots
do quali draw and push players thru rounds
goto add players to event
pull players from the quali draw (quaters,semis etc) and add to main draw
main draw is done so those players will appear as reserves
in main draw right mouse click on the quaifier u want to replace
select replace player
and then add in the qualifier
u can use the same procedure with the quali draw (from a pre quali draw)

setting up a new tournament

-assuming an unlocked app.

1) start drawsheet
2) click menu item 'tournament\new'
3) type in the name of your tournament file , it will default to 'mytournament', so we will use that
4) click 'ok'
5) click header button ( across the top of the app) 'tournament'
6) just below that there is a combox box, it is the top most 'bar' on the page,click that
7) select 'tournament' from the list
8) your' tournament configuration' will appear
9) in the tournament name box type in 'my tournament'
10) click on the 'set dates' box
12) in the top month box click 'feb', in the top day box click '5'
13) in the bottom month box click 'feb', in the bottom day box click '10'
14) click 'set days' box
15) there are 2 small boxes to the right of the listbox with the dates in it ( bottom right). click the * box
16) all days are selected ( in some cases you wont want certain weekdays if your tournament does not use those days)
so you would leave them unselected in those cases.
17) after clicking the * box all days should be selected.
18) click generate
19) click 'save' box bottom right
20) the dates box should read 'mon05feb07-sat10feb07' a five day tournament inclusive
21) enter the currency you will be working in. lets say USD. type 'USD' into the currency box
22) while online click upload. click ok
23) click next tab over 'details', type 'my details', in box lower left ,click save locally, click ok, click upload ,click ok
24) click next tab over 'entry ins' (entry instructions) type 'entry instructions', in box lower left click save locally, click ok, click upload click ok
25) click next tab over 'payment ins' (payment instructions) , type 'payment instructions', in box lower left ,click save locally, click ok, click upload ,click ok
26) click next tab over 'message to players', type 'contact ref on arrival', in box lower left ,click save locally, click ok, click upload ,click ok
27) skip max events for now
28) click next tab 'emails', type in an email address where you want your recovery emails sent.
this means that for every entry you receive, you will get a copy of the entry that the player gets, sent to your email
address. You could then print it off so you have a hard copy of the entry. In the event of a disaster you will still
have all of your entries and could rebuild from there.
29) click send recovery emails check box. ( you can toggle them on and off while leaving the email intact)
30) click next tab over 'conditions, type 'terms and conditions', in box lower left ,click save locally, click ok, click upload ,click ok
34) ds4 tab. in venue type 'venue', address type 'address', country select 'usa', surface type 'clay', click save locally
35) in the combox box ( top right) to the right of the 'event ' label click 'events'
36) click add new button.

37) type mens singles as event name, ( no quotes in the events names)
select 'singles' as 'singles/doubles' ( it will already be selected because its the default)
select 'male' as 'event sex'
select 'players only' as 'event type'
type in 10 as the fee (digits only ,currency is implied in other section)
click save

38) type ladies singles as event name,
select 'singles' as 'singles/doubles' ( it will already be selected because its the default)
select 'female' as 'event sex'
select 'players only' as 'event type'
type in 10 as the fee
click save

39) type mens doubles as event name,
select 'doubles' as 'singles/doubles' 
select 'male' as 'event sex'
select 'players only' as 'event type'
type in 5 as the fee (its per player this time, lets make it 5)
click save

40) type womens doubles as event name,
select 'doubles' as 'singles/doubles' 
select 'female' as 'event sex'
select 'players only' as 'event type'
type in 5 as the fee 

41) type mixed doubles as event name,
select 'doubles' as 'singles/doubles' 
select 'mixed' as 'event sex'
select 'players only' as 'event type'
type in 5 as the fee 

42) click close

43) click errors button ( its easy to make a mistake with this) and once you have uploaded them you cannot
edit any mistakes you have made, and you will have to upload them all again! and if you have any entries
in other events, then they will get wiped. So take the time to get it right at this stage.

44) assuming no errors click close
45) click header button 'online'
46) click '*events'
47) click upload events in the box below the events list
48) click upload events ( all events get uploaded, you have no choice)
49) it will say '...are you sure you want to do this...' etc. click ok ( note it is going to delete whatever entries
are up there which is none at the moment. click ok.
50) another box will pop up 
1) events where uploaded <---- just confirmation
2) max events settings were cleared, reset from tournament section
3) entries and withdrawals were set to closed

51) click ok
52) deal with point 3 first
53) skip over to the events online box. click on the combox box below the list
54) click open entries/withdrawals
54) the 2 boxes on top will go green ( green is open, red is closed)
55) click ok.
56) deal with point 2
57) click tournament header button on very top again
58) click the top most combox again ( same one as last time)
59) click max events
60) type in 3 in to the max events box
61) type 1 into max events (singles)
62) type 1 into max events (mixed)
63) leave the consider mixed events as doubles for now
64) click save locally, click ok
65) click upload, click ok
66) click online header button (again)
67) click the box below the online events box ( again)
68) click view enter page
69) you will see your enter page. This is what your players will see.
